City services will continue uninterrupted.

The AFSCME local 771 has postponed tomorrow’s pending strike for three weeks, until 6 a.m. June 7, in an attempt to allow the Ironton City Council and Mayor John Elam to come up with a revenue generating plan that is agreeable to all parties.

The strike delay was announced late Monday following a five and a half hour arbitration session.
