Grand jury indicts 17 for theft, various charges

The Lawrence County grand jury returned indictments against 17 people after a two-day session late last week. According to information from the office of Lawrence County Prosecutor J.B. Collier Jr., those indicted were:
— Michael L. Reynolds, 30, 47 Private Drive 1755, Proctorville, one count of felony theft, three counts of misdemeanor theft and seven counts of misdemeanor criminal trespass.
— Krystle Breck, 22, Huntington, W.Va., three counts of misdemeanor theft and two counts of felony theft.
— David E. Turvey, 18, 908 Township Road 111, Coal Grove, failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer.
— Linda R. Neace, 37, Greenup, Ky., two counts of theft from a disabled person.
— Roger A. Wallace, 47, 409 Buckhorn St., Ironton, failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer.
— Craig A. Castle, 20, 815 S. Ninth St., Ironton, five counts of burglary.
— Jeremy F. Lewis, 148 Township Road 606, Ironton, one felony count of aggravated possession of drugs and one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana.
— Loretta Edwards, 28, 4756 State Route 141, Ironton, theft.
— Johnnie L Bryant, 69, 1515 S. Fourth St., Ironton, theft from a disabled person, and his codefendant,
— Glenda M. Roller, 51, also of 1515 S. Fourth St., Ironton, theft from the elderly.
— John W. Bays, 35, 404 1/2 S. Fourth St., Ironton, burglary.
— Ronda F. Littlejohn, 37, 501 Pike St., Coal Grove, tampering with evidence and obstructing official business.
— Robert E. Moore, Jr., 34, Oak Hill, having a weapon under a disability, grand theft and grand theft of a motor vehicle.
—William B. Varney, 34, Ashland, Ky., felonious assault.
— Bethany A. Crabtree, 22, 2211 S. Fifth St., Ironton, two counts of burglary, and his codefendant,
— William P. Elliott, 18, Greenup, Ky., two counts of burglary.
— Joshua O. Mathews, 27, Charleston, W.Va., failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer, assault on a police officer.
The grand jury met Thursday and Friday.
