Assault, domestic, resisting arrest — Union Township, 10:07 p.m. Friday, female menaced, man assaulted, man located, attempted to kick deputy while being arrested, James A. Baker, 45, 38 Private Drive 129 Chesapeake, arrested and taken to jail.
Domestic violence — Union Township, 3:40 a.m. Saturday, female menaced, Raymond E. Mott, 22, 815 First Ave., Chesapeake, arrested and taken to jail.
Domestic — Perry Township, 7:36 p.m. Saturday, 12-year-old girl reportedly choked for not coming home when told, Gregory A. Henry, 49, 1620 County Road 1, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.
Domestic — Union Township, 5:45 p.m. Monday, woman reportedly threatened with knife when she refused to ask her mother for money, victim able to summon help, family member also threatened with knife, car chased down street by man with knife as victims left residence, Robert R. Simpkins, 45, 40 Township Road 124, Chesapeake, arrested and taken to jail.
Domestic — Union Township, 6:59 p.m. Saturday, 15 year old child out of control, taken to group home.
Domestic — Fayette Township, 8:07 p.m. Friday, man reportedly pushed, grabbed by throat, Donna J. Workman, 58, 124 Township Road 1340, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Trouble — Reported at police station, 3:20 a.m. Saturday, woman reported being abused physically over period of time, one man arrested and taken to jail
Hit/skip — 700 block South Fourth Street, 5:49 a.m. Saturday, incident witnessed by victim, one woman taken to police station, tests administered, patient suicidal, taken to hospital.
Trouble — Quick Stop, South Third Street, 2:04 p.m. Saturday, man causing problems, taken to police station, jail unable to take him.
Hit skip — Speedway, Eighth Street and Park Avenue, 2:26 p.m. Saturday.
Theft — 200 block Mastin Avenue, 3:12 p.m. Saturday, cell phone taken.
Accident — South Third and Vernon streets, 4:17 p.m. Saturday, citation issues.
Unruly child — 8:12 p.m. Saturday, female juvenile refusing to come home from Sparetime, located and taken to police station.
Trouble — Shenanigan’s Third and McGovney Street, 3:11 a.m. Sunday, woman lying in parking lot refusing to leave, squad called, woman disoriented, mother called to get her.
Trouble — Peddlers, South Third Street, 3:26 a.m. Sunday, person refusing to leave, moved on.
Coal Grove police
Assault — Tri-State Industries, 1:45 p.m. Feb. 17, two employees reported being allegedly assaulted by client, did not want to press charges, information taken for report.
Theft, vandalism, forced entry — Area of Dutey Drive 12:30 p.m. Monday, owner of car found door pried open, lock broken, wallet with $180 and driver’s license missing, as well as a bottle of oxycodon and noroton.
Domestic violence — 900 block High Street, 3 p.m. Feb. 16, man allegedly struck 17-year-old stepson in the face, witnesses also heard man verbally threaten stepson, William C. Perry, Jr., 42, 920 1/2 High Street, Coal Grove, arrested.
Assault — Sunset Nursing Center, 7 a.m. Feb. 12, resident allegedly using wheelchair to harm employees, information taken for report.
Tampering with evidence — Feb. 10, at a traffic stop, passenger of car swallowed 5 Xanax pills, had marijuana and rolling papers in pockets, Ryan A. Justice, 28, 200 Private Road 1059, Ironton, arrested and taken to Southern Ohio Medical Center for observation.
