Roger Hayes

Roger Emerson Hayes, 69, of Ironton, formerly of Willow Wood, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Willow Wood native was born June 12, 1942, the son of the late Emerson and Irene Wilson Hayes.

Mr. Hayes was a 1960 graduate of Waterloo High School, was a former employee for Bill Allen Construction for 20 years and a self-employed carpenter for 15 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Ironton Moose 701 in Ironton. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Hayes.

He is survived by his companion of 12 years, Alberta Wilson of Ironton and their little dog, Nosey;

daughter and son-in-law, Michael and Jamie Hayes McCaffery of Ironton; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Loretta Hayes of Thomasville, Ga.; six grandchildren. Jessica, Justin, Jodi Clay, Amber and Tyler Hayes and Savannah Craiger; and two great grandchildren, Landon Clay and Kira Hanshaw-Clay.

Bonnie Trimble

RACELAND, Ky. — Bonnie Lou Trimble, 67, of Raceland, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.  She was the wife of Ron Trimble, who survives.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, Ky., with Rev. Rick Mays officiating.  Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.

Lisa Lowery

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Lisa Michelle Lowery, 45, of Huntington, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at home. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Barry and Pastor Dale Henson. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
