Big Brothers Big Sisters needs to grow the family.

The organization is hosting events to recruit volunteers to serve the boys and girls in the program in need of friendship and mentoring.

Anyone interested in hearing more about Big Brothers Big Sisters are encouraged to drop by one of the special events and hear how you can make a difference in the life of a child.

Volunteers for the community-based program must be at least 19 years of age.

Volunteers for the school-based mentoring program must be at least 18 years of age.

The community based program involves seeing a child at least twice a month and spending at least 3-4 hours each visit.

The school-based mentoring program allows mentors to visit with their Little Brother or Sister for an hour per week at school.

The volunteer recruitment events will be held at a variety of locations.

Anyone interested in hearing more about volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters are welcomed to stop by and learn more.
