Fairland wrestlers win OVC tri-match

CHESAPEAKE — The Fairland Dragons are going from three-team champion to the Channel 3 tournament.
The Dragons won the Ohio Valley Conference tri-match on Tuesday and will now join their league members Friday and Saturday at the WSAZ-TV 3 Invitational at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.
Fairland had six individual champions in the 14 weight classes. River Valley had four winners and the Chesapeake Panthers three.
There was no winner in the 170-pound division.
The WSAZ tournament begins at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and resumes at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The championship round is scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Admission is $7 for adults and $6 for students for single sessions and $20 fro adults adn $17 fro students for all sessions.
