Burglary — Private Drive 170, Chesapeake, 4:45 p.m. Dec. 8, residence entered while owners away at Thanksgiving, pistol, jewelry, other items taken, possible suspects named.

Shoplifter — Speedway, Eighth Street and Park Avenue, 7:43 p.m. Wednesday, subject located, assaulted officer, Matthew A. Rife, 22, 2701S. Fourth St., Ironton, charged with aggravated assault, petty theft and taken to jail.

Assault — Eighth and Jefferson streets, 8:38 p.m. Wednesday, woman assaulted by two men.

Theft — 2000 block South Seventh Street, 10:43 p.m. Wednesday, Xbox taken.

Peeping Toms — 800 block McGovney Street, 11:16 p.m. Wednesday, kids from across street looking into woman’s windows.

Hit by truck — Reported at police station 10:47 a.m. Thursday, woman hit by truck on South Third Street Dec. 21, advised.

Car broke into — 1300 block South Eighth Street, 12:20 p.m. Thursday, pocket change taken.

Vandalism — Reported at police station, 12:28 p.m. Thursday, vehicle damaged.

Trouble — 2700 block South Seventh Street Thursday, guys yelling at each other, negative contact.
