Howard Jenkins

GALION — Howard M. ‘’Ken’’ Jenkins, 68, of Galion, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, Mansfield, after an extended illness.

Ken was born in Ironton on Sept. 6, 1943, to the late Howard and Margaret (Jenkins) Jenkins. He married Joyce E. Hessie and she survives him. He was a member of the Apostolic Church of God. He attended Hanging Rock School in Lawrence County. He was employed by RPS Properties of Crestline as a maintenance supervisor. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly K. Watson and Martin Poth of Crestline; his son Douglas and Brenda M. Crane of Galion; four grandsons; and his two brothers Lawrence and Barbara Jenkins and Gary and Donna Jenkins both of Galion. He was preceded in death by his brother Matthew Jenkins and sister Bonnie Ratcliff. Friends may call Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion, with Elder Buddy Walters officiating.
