Now, that’s more like it.
After a disappointing outing on Monday, the St. Joseph Flyers bounced back to beat the Tolsia (W.Va.) Rebels 12-5 Tuesday.
“It was good to come out and play better than we did last night (Monday). Everyone hit the ball hard throughout the lineup. Even our outs were hit hard,” said Flyers coach Greg Bryant.

Tre Stambaugh was 2-3, Jerrod Laber 2-4 and Pat Gagai 2-5.
Ryan Waginger got the win with five solid innings. He struck out six, walked one and only one of the runs he allowed was earned.
The Flyers didn’t waste any time as they scored three runs in the first inning where Lewis cranked a three-run homer after singles by Gagai and Laber.
The Flyers got five runs in the second inning.
