Reynolds arrested by drug task force

AID TOWNSHIP— A drug bust late last week has resulted in one arrest and the seizure of nearly six pounds of marijuana and $600.
Virgil Reynolds, 54, of 352 Private Drive 4252 was arrested at his residence by the Lawrence County Drug and Major Crimes Task Force.
He was charged with trafficking in marijuana and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
According to information from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Reynolds arrest came after authorities searched his residence and motor vehicle and found the marijuana that had been packaged for resale, cash and scales commonly used to weigh illegal drugs. Deputies also confiscated a handgun.
Reynolds was recently indicted secretly by a Lawrence County grand jury.
