Ashley Nicole Evans and Jason Scott VanDeusen announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Pam Evans of Ironton. She is a 2004 graduate of Rock Hill High School and is employed as a case manager at Southern Ohio Behavioral Health in Ironton.

The groom-elect is the son of Joe and Donna VanDeusen of Wheelersburg. He is a 2001 graduate of Clay High School and a 2007 graduate of Shawnee State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education. He is employed at Portsmouth Elementary School as a first grade teacher.

A wedding is planned for May 31 at Woodland Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Ironton. The wedding will begin at 2:30 p.m. with music starting at 2 p.m. Dr. Calvin Ray Evans will officiate. All friends and family are welcome.
