A Crown City man has pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license.

Lyle Keeney, 31, of 63 Private Drive 15644 in Crown City, pleaded not guilty to the charges Wednesday in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court.

Judge Scott Bowling set a pretrial date for the case for July 7.

Chase Lewis, 25, of 5350 County Road 15 in South Point, pleaded not guilty to four counts of aggravated drug trafficking. A $30,000 real estate bond was set in the case. A pretrial date is set for Wednesday.

Christopher Ferris, 27, of 158 Township Road 1049 in Ironton, pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated drug trafficking. A pretrial date has been set for July 7. Bond has been set at $50,000 in the case.

Linda McCann, 49, of 493 Township Road 107 in Scottown, pleaded not guilty to three counts of aggravated drug trafficking.

McCann was not represented by an attorney at the arraignment. McCann told Bowling that she and her husband cannot afford an attorney.

“I don’t know what to do about the attorney is what I’m trying to say,” she said.

Bowling told her that she does not qualify for a court-appointed attorney because she owns a vehicle and a motorcycle.

A pretrial date has been set for Wednesday. Bowling advised McCann to hire an attorney in the mean time.

“At that time it would be my hopes, that you would have an attorney to help you through this process,” Bowling said.

Brandon Mullens, 27, of 171 Township Road 321 in Ironton, pleaded guilty to a bill of information of drug theft and tampering with evidence.

Bowling sentenced Mullens to a total of four years of community controlled sanctions and ordered him to complete the STAR program.
