Grand jury indicts more than 30

More than 30 indictments were handed down late last week and earlier this week by a Lawrence County grand jury.

According to information from the office of Lawrence County Prosecutor J.B. Collier, Jr., the list of those indicted were:

— Robert Hartman, 22, 22302 State Route 243, Proctorville, aggravated vehicular assault. He is accused of trying to run over another person with a car.

—David Lynd, 29, 2409 S. Eighth St., Ironton, breaking and entering and grand theft.

— Bryan S. Layne, 29, 4104 County Road 15, South Point, grand theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

— Phillip B. Lawhorn, 32, Huntington, W.Va., two counts of felonious assault and one count of theft.

— Thomas C. Petty II, 26, 271 County Road 1, South Point, gross sexual imposition. The victim was a male under the age of 13.

— Lonnie McDonald Jr., 21, 271 County Road 3, Chesapeake, felonious assault.

— Richard Dailey, 42, failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer.

— Jennifer Ferguson, 25, Ashland, Ky., theft.

— Lewis Ford, 36, 103 Fourth St. E., South Point, DUI.

— Misty Emery, 19, 95 Private Drive 3363, Proctorville, theft.

— Bryan K. Maynard, 38, three counts of felonious assault.

— Michael Shane Maynard, 36, Wayne, W.Va., burglary.

—Christopher D. Cremeans, 28, 1365 County Road 1, South Point, burglary.

— John W. Moore, 25, 8130 County Road 1, South Point, receiving stolen property and burglary, both felonies, and misdemeanor failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer.

— Robert Davis, 33, 386 Township Road 286, Chesapeake, burglary and theft of drugs, both felonies and criminal damaging and theft, both misdemeanors.

— Thomas D. Smith,

39, 21A Private Drive 8197 Proctorville, burglary.

— Curtis Adkins, 30, 411 Third Ave., Chesapeake, deception of obtain a dangerous drug.

— Kaleb Williamson, 25, Huntington, W.Va., breaking and entering, vandalism, and grand theft.

and his co-defendant, Shawn K. Travis, 26, Huntington, W.Va., breaking and entering, vandalism, and grand theft. Both Williamson and Travis are accused of breaking into the Verizon telephone facility in Burlington to steal copper.

— Jessica Ferris, 25, no street address available, Ironton, two counts of illegal use of food stamps.

—Aaron Wiley, 23, 136 Elizabeth St., Proctorville, failure to appear.

—Jennifer Page, 30, Huntington, W.Va., aggravated possession of drugs, a felony, and possession of drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.

—Casey Goodrich, 27, 1604 S. Fourth St., Ironton, tampering with evidence, possession of criminal tools and aggravated possession of drugs.

— Rocky Salyers, 26, Rush, Ky., receiving stolen property.

—Carl Salyers, 21, Rush, Ky., receiving stolen property.

— Jason Broughton, 31, 2732 S. Sixth St., Ironton, breaking and entering, grand theft.

— Bruce Johnson, 31, 64 Private Drive 9260, South Point, felonious assault.

— Joseph Barber, 27, receiving stolen property.

— Stephen Leonard, 32, 1365 County Road 1, South Point, receiving stolen property.

— Paul Abram, 4719 County Road 5, Pedro, burglary, a felony, and assault, a misdemeanor.

— Ronnie Harris, 28, 404 Elizabeth St., Proctorville, grand theft and breaking and entering.

— Jeffrey Holley, 22, 20 Township Road 2065, Proctorville, forgery and grand theft of a firearm.
