The Ironton Little League 7- and 8-year-old All-Stars have won three pitching machine tournaments this summer.

Ironton won the Portsmouth Clay tournament with a 4-0 record by beating Clay, Green and Wheelersburg twice.

The Ironton team won its own tournament at 5-1 by beating Fairland, South Point and Wheelersburg before losing to Green. However, Ironton came back to beat Green back-to-back to win the tournament.

In the Green tournament, Ironton was 4-0 with wins over Clay, Rock Hill and Green twice.

Ironton averaged 14 runs a game.
