Pediatric specialists join Cabell Huntington Hospital, Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Cabell Huntington Hospital and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine have added several new pediatric specialists to the medical staff to enhance the care provided for newborns and children at the Children’s Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine:

• Sean Loudin, MD, neonatologist, specializes in care for high-risk newborns. Dr. Loudin earned his medical degree and completed his residency in pediatrics at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in neonatology at the Medical University of South Carolina.

• Rosa Carrasco, MD, neonatologist, specializes in care for high-risk newborns. Dr. Carrasco earned her medical degree at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Facultad de Medicina in Lima, Peru. She also completed her residency training in pediatrics at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla. and at Instituto Nacional de Salud del Nino / Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru. Dr. Carrasco completed her fellowship in neonatology at Northwestern University, Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.

• Jack R. Stines, MD, pediatric cardiologist, specializes in evaluations of children for heart murmur, syncope and abnormal heart rhythm. Dr. Stines earned his medical degree and completed his residency in pediatrics at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
