Kyle and Kristin Holmes, of Middletown, announce the birth of a son, Karter Randall Holmes.

He was born July 26 at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown.

He weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Jim and Rita Holmes of Middletown, formerly of Coal Grove.

Maternal grandparents are Colleen Clark of West Chester and the late Mike Morris, of Middletown.
