Robert Nelson White, 65, passed away at his home on April 28, 2025, in Bristol, Tennessee.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1960 in Ironton, to Robert N. White and Gayle T. Wood.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Robin White-Ison and Kristi White-Hall.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary White; children, Talia White, Bobby White (Andrea), and Clarissa White (Jonathan); sister, Terri White Gregory (Jeff); five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A man of deep Christian faith, Robert lived a life filled with creativity, passion, and humor.

His quick wit and playful spirit brought joy and laughter to those around him, whether through a joke or a song.

Robert was an artist, songwriter, magician and avid collector of antiquities.

He found peace in nature and enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and friends.

Robert’s generosity, warmth and humor made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 S. Sixth St. Ironton. The committal service will be conducted following the funeral service in Haverhill Cemetery.
