Event set for March 8

PROCTORVILLE – A fundraising dinner, set for Saturday, March 8 will benefit a woman battling ALS.

Proctorville Mayor Bill Elliott said the event, set for 3-8 p.m. at the Proctorville Volunteer Fire Department Bingo Hall, will raise funds for Lisa Ferguson.

Ferguson is an employee at Wesbanco.

“She’s worked there for years,” Elliott said.

The cost of the event is $10, which will include spaghetti and desert.

Elliott said there will also be Gospel singing at the event.

He said people can dine in or pick up to-go meals.

The bingo hall is located 132 County Rd. 775 in Proctorville.
