Fair week shortened for 2025
ROME TOWNSHIP — The Lawrence County Fair will have a new provider for midway rides when it returns in July.
The fair announced that it has entered into a multi-year partnership with Primetime Carnival Company, beginning with the 2025 fair.
The Florida-based company is also the provider of rides for the Ohio State Fair and the fair board says all rides that will be in Lawrence County will also be featured at the state event.
“With a yearly rotation of new rides and games, Primetime prides itself in providing a safe and enjoyable
carnival experience,” the county fair board said in a post on Facebook.
The 2025 Lawrence County Fair is set for July 7-12 at the county fairgrounds, located at 7755 County Road 107 in Rome Township.
At six days in length this year, the fair is shorter than last year, when it spanned eight days, and will kick off on a Monday, rather than a Saturday, as it has in previous years.
