Lawrence County is no longer under a snow emergency.

On Tuesday, Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless rescinded the snow emergency that Lawrence County has been under for more than a week, but he reminded drivers to remain careful.

“Most all main roads are clear, but there are still secondary roads that have snow and ice so drivers should continue to use caution if they are out driving,” Lawless said in a press release. “As temperatures fall overnight, wet roads will re-freeze, which will make for dangerous driving conditions.”
