FRANKLIN FURNACE — Abbie Knapp must be a control freak.

Knapp took control of the game in all phases as the Green Lady Bobcats toppled the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings 67-40 on Monday.

Knapp’s all-around game included 30 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 blocked shots. Matti Hayslip scored 16 points to go with 6 rebounds and 3 assists for Green (6-0).

Kaitlin Maynard had 11 points to pace Symmes Valley (1-6)

Knapp scored 11 points and Brown hit a 3-pointer as Green took a 14-9 first quarter lead.

Four different players scored for the Lady Vikings.

Green extended its lead to 28-19 at the half as Hayslip drilled a pair of 3-pointers while Elizabeth McBee and Knapp scored 4 each.

Lydia Saunders scored 5 points and Kaitlin Maynard had 4 points for Symmes Valley.

The Lady Bobcats outscored Symmes Valley 16-7 coming out of the locker room and built a 44-26 lead.

Ava Abrams hit a trey and scored 5 points, Addison Blizzard hit a 3-pointer and Knapp added 4 points.

Green continued to build on its lead in the fourth quarter as Knapp hit a 3-pointer and scored 11 points and Hayslip had 8 points including 5-of-8 free throws.

Lindsey Freeman scored all 6 of her points and Maynard had 5 points for the Lady Vikings.
