HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Athletics will host its 2024 Fans First Day on Aug. 3 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

Fans First Day continues the initiative of Fans First, Fans Forever as we count down the days until the start of the 2024-25 Marshall Athletics seasons.

Fans can interact with the football, volleyball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s cross country and women’s cross country teams at the event. Each team will have stations where fans can get autographs and interact with the student-athletes for a unique fan experience.

One unique aspect to the 2024 Fans First Day is ‘Rock With The Herd’ as fans get a chance to paint their own rock to be displayed in front of the Shewey Athletic Building where they can be found on game days.

There are also two important youth initiatives taking place in coordination with Fans First Day: a book drive and a school supply drive.

There will be stations set up where fans can bring in books and school supplies that will be donated to local underprivileged youth. Every fan that brings a book or school supply item will be given a special ticket that they can use for the 2024 football season.

On the day of the event, fans will enter through the HerdZone store, located at Joan C. Edwards Stadium, starting at 5:30 p.m. Once inside, fans can head down to the field to pick up fall posters for autographs and kids can also get a bingo card to fill out for a special prize as they make their way down to the field at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

While in attendance, fans can also purchase tickets for all fall sports, sign up for the 2024-25 Kid’s Club or stop by the Big Green table for information on ways to give to their specific programs.
