Patsy Hacker

April 29, 1932– July 2, 2024

 

Patsy Ann (Gibson) Hacker, 92, of Ironton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at her residence.

Patsy was born April 29, 1932, in Ironton, a daughter to the late Fred S. and Anna E. (Beard) Gibson.

She was also preceded in death on October 17, 2010, by her husband, Donald “Dynamite” C. Hacker, whom she married July 18, 1952.

Patsy was a 1950 graduate of Ironton High School and was a loving homemaker.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Ann Pauley.

Patsy is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Rock Meadows, of Ironton; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Rhonda Hacker, of Ironton; daughter, Heidi Lawson, of Ironton; 11 grandchildren, Brian Pauley, Michael Pauley, Gary Pauley, Dr. Jim Meadows, Scott Meadows, Jeremy Meadows, Joey Hacker, Stephen Hacker, Taylor Hacker, Mandi Valentine and Andrew Lawson; 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Raymond (Sherry) M. Gibson.

There will be a funeral service noon Saturday with Pastor Lawrence Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Donald.

There will be public visitation from 11 a.m.-noon Saturday at Tracy Brammer Monroe Funeral Home, 518 S, Sixth St., Ironton, is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be Jim Meadows, Scott Meadows, Jeremy Meadows, Rock Meadows, Brady Meadows, Andrew Lawson and Stephen Hacker. Honorary Pallbearer will be Joey Hacker.
