Arline Barnes

Arline Barnes, 80, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

The Ironton native was born June 20, 1943, the daughter of the late Paul and Ardith Webb Barnes.

Ms. Barnes was a 1961 graduate of Ironton High School and a former secretary for the City of Birmingham, Alabama.  She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ironton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Nunnally.

She is survived by a brother-in-law, David Nunnally, of Ironton; a niece, Susan Ross, of South Point; and a nephew, Damon Nunnally, of Ashland, Kentucky.

Graveside Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Woodland Cemetery, Section 9, with Father Ward officiating.

Burial will follow.
