Andrew Wiseman

Andrew Lewis Wiseman, 93, died Nov. 30, 2023, at Genesis Heritage.

He was born May 15, 1930 in Ironton, the son of the late Julia Layne Wiseman and Quentin Cyril Wiseman.

He is survived by his sister, Lorna Wiseman Klein; his nieces and their husbands; Ramona Klein McConney and John McConney, Paulette Stanley and Ron Stanley; his great niece, Veronica Stanley; and his great nephews, Brandon Stanley and Andrew McConney, who was named for him.

He was a retired employee of CSX Transportation, Inc.

Andrew was a graduate of Ironton High School, having been a lifetime resident of Ironton.

His hobby was antique cars.

He was very fond of his four pet cats and his dog.

He grieved for the deceased ones.  He liked to tell jokes and sing songs.  He had many degrees in the Masonic lodge, Shriners and the Knight Templars.

Visitation will be 6–8 p.m. Thursday at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m.  Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Sam Peters officiating.

Interment will follow with Masonic Rites in Woodland Cemetery, Ironton.
