Richard Heaberlin

April 24, 1945–June 18, 2020

Richard “Rick” Lee Heaberlin, 75, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020, at his residence.

Rick was born April 24, 1945, in Ironton; a son to the late Oscar and Gertrude (White) Heaberlin. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, JoLinda Dalton Heaberlin, whom he married Jan. 13, 1967.

 

Rick was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and was owner of Jo-Lin Heath Care Center, retiring after 33 years of service in 2017. He attended Sharon Baptist Church.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and bothers-in-law, Kathy and Doug Lawless and Paulette and Robert Payne

 

In addition to his wife, JoLinda, he is survived by daughter, Melissa Garris, of Ironton; son, Richard Lee Heaberlin II, of Ironton; four grandchildren, Ashleigh (Steven) Elswick, Chard M. Garris, Nicolas (Christine) Heaberlin and Natalie B. Heaberlin, all of Ironton; brother, Kerry (Kathy) Heaberlin, of Ironton; sister, Peggy (Wade) Dyer, of Wheelersburg; and four great-grandchildren, Brayden Elswick, Titus Elswick and Bentleigh Elswick and Riley Heaberlin.

 

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 S. Sixth St., Ironton, with Pastor Steve Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will be noon Saturday until time of the service at the funeral home.

Tommy Thompson

Judge Tommy Lee Thompson, 85, of Proctorville, died Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at home.

 

He is survived by his wife, Erma Forbes Thompson.

 

A celebration of life service will be noon  on Aug. 1 at Pomeroy Gun Club, Pomeroy Pike, Pomeroy.

Michael Roberts

Michael L. Roberts, 66, of Gallipolis, died Tuesday, June 16, 2020, in Arbors of Gallipolis, Gallipolis.

 

He is survived by his wife, Laura Taylor Roberts.

Charles Lee Cremeans, 53, of Huntington, West Virginia, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

 

There will be a service of remembrance at a later time at Rose of Sharon Church, Proctorville.

Candy Louise Carlisle, 52, of Ironton, died June 15, 2020, at her residence.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. today at Woodland Cemetery with Reverend Margaret V.L. Tyson officiating. Military graveside rites will be provided by VFW Post 8850. There will be public visitation from 9:15–10:15 a.m. at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 S. Sixth St., Ironton,
