The village council of Chesapeake and South will host their regular monthly meetings for June next week.

In Chesapeake, the council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at village hall.

Mayor Kim Oldaker said it will be a regular meeting and open to the public.

Last month, the council had a closed session that was livestreamed to the public.

In South Point, the council will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in a session open to the public.

Mayor Jeff Gaskin said this meeting has been moved from village hall to the South Point Community Center, located at 408 2^nd St. W., in order to allow for more social distancing and space between officials, as well as members of the public.

Last month, the council met in a teleconference, which was open to the media and a few invited members of the public.
