Hanging Rock Council
The Hanging Rock Village Council will meet at 8 a.m. at the village’s Municipal Building, 400 Main St. The meeting is open to the public.
Coffee With a First Responder
The public is invited to attend the Upper Township Fire Department’s coffee with first responder event from 9–11 a.m. at the fire department, 3402 State Route 141, Ironton. It is hosted by Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless, Upper Township Fire Chief JD Pancake and Ohio State Highway Patrol Post Commander Lt. Nick Lunsford. It is free.

Dawson-Bryant BOE Meeting
The Dawson-Bryant Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. at the BOE offices.
Chesapeake Council
The Chesapeake Village Council will meet at 7 p.m. at the village hall.
South Point BOE Special Session
The South Point Board of Education will meet in special session at 6 p.m. at its office. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss personnel.
Black History Month Event
Reggie Hanson, motivational speaker and life coach, will speak at 12:15 p.m. during a Community Diversity and Inclusion forum at Ashland Community and Technical College’s J.B. Sowards Theatre. Hanson was an All-SEC Conference player at the University of Kentucky and is president of Hanson Coaching and Consulting LLC.

PERI Meeting
PERI Chapter 62 will meet at 11 a.m. at the Ironton branch of the Briggs Lawrence County Library in the upstairs room. All PERI, OPERS retirees or current workers are invited to attend.

IHS Class of 1948 Lunch
Ironton High School Class of 1948 will meet for lunch at noon at The Depot in Ironton. All classmates and guests are invited.

Ironton City Schools Meeting
Ironton City Schools will have their regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the Ironton Board office.
Chesapeake School Board Meeting
The Chesapeake Union Exempted Village School District will have its regular board meeting at 6 p.m. The public can comment IDEA use of funds, title, McKinney Vento, and wellness.

The Concerned Citizens of Burlington, will host a Meet the Candidates event for the primary election at 6 p.m. at Burlington Elementary.

Harvest fundraiser
Harvest for the Hungry will be celebrating National Pig Day with a soup and grilled cheese fundraiser from noon-2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, located at 101 N. Fifth St. in Ironton. Suggested donation of $3.50.
