ASHTON, W.Va. — Kame and Kasey killed the ’Cats.
Kame Sweeney and Kasey Kimbler combined for 43 points to lead the Green Lady Bobcats to a 58-41 win over the Hannan Lady Wildcats on Monday.
Sweeney scored a game-high 26 points and Kimbler had 17 points to lead Green (7-3).
Julie Frazier had 19 points for Hannan (1-4).
Green established its dominance in the first quarter as Sweeney scored 6 points and Anna Knapp hit a trifecta and scored 5 points to give the Lady Bobcats a 14-2 lead.
Sweeney racked up 9 points in the second quarter as five different players scored and the lead grew to 31-12 at the half.
Kimbler got the hot hand as she hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 9 points while Sweeney had 7 to give Green a 47-25 lead after three quarters.
Frazier scored 6 points and Bailey Coleman 4 as Hannan got 13 points in the quarter.
Frazier had 9 points including a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter as Hannan outscored Green 16-11.
Sweeney had 4 points and Kimbler nailed a 3-pointer before the Lady Bobcats began to empty their bench.
Green host Rock Hill on Saturday.
