Linda Stephenson

Linda S. Stephenson, 68, of Ironton, ascended to her Heavenly Father, Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She was a native of Blaine, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charles and Jeanette (Cordle) Curnutte. She is survived by her husband, William Stephenson, whom she married May 30, 1973.

Linda was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Ironton. She enjoyed assisting the church in many congregational functions and projects. She had many close friends from her time spent at Sharon Baptist. Throughout her adult life, Linda lived and worked in the Tri-State area and retired from Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

Linda was preceded in death by her siblings, Edgar Curnutte, Lucille Woodside and Mary Austin; and sister-in-law, Robin Stephenson.

Linda loved her family and leaves behind many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her brother, Charles (Jenetta) Curnutte; nieces and nephews, Brenda (Bill) Humphries, Sherri Austin, Charlene (Derek) Brown, Steven (Leah) Curnutte, Jeffery (Christy) Curnutte and Jennifer (Jason) Yeager; and two brothers-in-law, Frank (Donna) Stephenson and Robert Stephenson.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Rev. Steve Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Geraldine Bailey

Geraldine Bailey, 84, of Lesage, West Virginia, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia.

She is survived by her husband, William Bailey.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, with Pastor Tim Arthur officiating. Burial will follow. No visitation will be held.

Larry O’Dell Sr.

Larry Keith O’Dell Sr., 72, of Chesapeake, formerly from St. Albans, West Virginia, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2019.  He is survived by his wife, Beverly Meadows O’Dell.

Visitation and a light reception will be from 4 – 6 p.m. at Riverlawn Presbyterian Church 2008 Pennsylvania Ave. St. Albans, West Virginia, on Thursday. There will be a private graveside service conducted by Dr. Randy See of Union Missionary Baptist Church.

Kimberly Kipp

Kimberly Dawn Kipp, 27, of Huntington, West Virginia, died passed away Sunday Dec. 1, 2019.

She is survived by her parents Robert and Linda Kipp.

A visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH.
