Seminars on Ohio landlord-tenant laws and federal Fair Housing Act protections for renters and buyers will take place at the Briggs Lawrence Library Chesapeake branch at 1 p.m. and the Proctorville branch at 3 p.m.

The South Point Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. in the South Point BOE office.

Cancer benefit

A bean dinner is set for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. to raise funds for Nancy Clark, who has been diagnosed with cancer and is traveling five days a week to undergo treatments.

The event is planned to help with her travel and medical expenses, and food will be donated and served at Clarks Fastlane in Arabia, followed by an auction.

Museum Tea

The annual Lawrence County Museum Christmas Tea will take place at 2 p.m. Call Kay Rader at 740-534-9477 for tickets.
