Lawrence Township Trustees Meeting

The Lawrence Township Trustees will hold their November meeting at 4:15 p.m. at the Kitts Hill Volunteer Fire Department building.

IHS Class of 1948 Lunch

Ironton High School Class of 1948 will meet at Casa Grande in South Point at noon. All classmates and guests are invited.

Procurement Workshop

Cancer benefit

A bean dinner is set for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. to raise funds for Nancy Clark, who has been diagnosed with cancer and is traveling five days a week to undergo treatments. The event is planned to help with her travel and medical expenses, and food will be donated and served at Clarks Fastlane in Arabia, followed by an auction.

The Lawrence County Land Bank will meet at noon at its office located 327 Vernon St., Ironton.

Breast Cancer Support Group

The Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital (OLBH) Breast Cancer Support Group will meet at noon on the hospital campus at Bellefonte Pavilion (2000 Ashland Drive) in the large conference room on the building’s first floor. Luminary 5K Run

The Chamber of Commerce’s annual Luminary 5K Run presented by Armstrong will be at 6:30 p.m. It starts at the Chamber office and goes through The Point Industrial Park. Registration is $20 before Nov. 21 and $25 on race day, and can be completed online at tristateracer.com. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers.

Special Needs Youth Sportsmen will host a hunter safety and deer hunt event, followed by a raffle, dinner and games for children. The event will take place at Collins Career Technical Center. There is no cost for the event. For more information, visit www.specialneedsyouth.org.

Follow traffic signs to enter the nativity.
