ATHENS, OH —Getting a ticket in the cheap seats takes on a whole new meaning for Ohio Bobcats football fans.
As part of college football’s 150th anniversary this season, the Bobcats will play rival Miami on national television next Wednesday.
To help fill Peden Stadium, tickets for the game will be $1.50. That’s one dollar and fifty centers.
The game will be the focus of the NCAA’s CFB150 (www.cfb150.org) celebration that night on ESPN2.
Ohio is also hoping to make history with the first ever Mid-American Conference mid-week sellout.
Ohio’s athletic department and alumni association are working to see that the game shows the nation the pride at Ohio University and with its football program.
