I understand that everything in this world is subject to change, but I am saddened by the announcement that the U.S. Bank branch at Jones Street is soon scheduled for closure.

As an accountant, I realize that often decisions are based on numbers.

However, I must say that the Jones Street bank will be missed by many customers, including myself.

Those employees, over the years, have been so courteous and professional. From Ms. Barr (for those old enough to remember Linda Barr), to the current staff, that branch of the bank has been instrumental in helping me with personal finances.

And I would just like each and every one of them to know how much I have appreciated them over the years. My prayer is that all of them will land on their feet in their quest for suitable employment.
