CHESAPEAKE —Will Todd from Chesapeake High School was selected as a running back to attend the Blue-Grey National Super Combine in Canton June 9-10.
“It’s an honor to be selected to participate in this national event,” Todd said.
If Todd performs well enough, he will be in position to be selected to play in one of the Blue-Grey National All-American Bowls played at four NFL locations.
Todd, a rising senior at Chesapeake, had his junior season cut short due to a dislocated elbow against South Point, a game in which he had amassed 203 yards and three touchdowns before half and a 65 yard kick return for a touchdown.
Despite the injury, Todd was honorable mention All-Ohio Valley Conference and Special Mention on the Division V All-Southeast District team.
Todd had been chosen to attend the mid-west regional Blue-Grey combine held at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati in March where his performance helped him earn a spot in the Super Combine.
