Fairland bus involved in crash: Two taken to hospital as precaution

ROME TOWNSHIP — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a driver of another vehicle was charged in an accident involving a Fairland Local Schools bus on Wednesday.
According to Trooper Martin, school bus No. 39 was traveling traveling northbound on County Road 12 and turning onto County Road 70 when a driver of a pickup, going westbound, failed to follow a stop sign and hit the bus.
Martin said the bus was disabled and two students were taken to the hospital as a precaution to check for minor injuries.
The bus, which serves all grade levels in the district was full at the time of the accident, which took place at about 3:15 p.m.
