Mother Daughter luncheon set for May 4: Tickets on sale through Concerned Citizens of Burlington

BURLINGTON — The concerned Citizens of Burlington will host a mother-daughter luncheon on Saturday, May 4.
The event will take place at the Burlington Fire Department at 11 a.m. and the meal will include chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, a drink and dessert.
“We’ve invited County Commissioner DeAnna Holliday to speak and are glad to have her,” Tamra Jones, president of the Concerned Citizens, said.
Tickets are $10 and Jones said anyone interested in attending can purchase them from her by calling 740-547-6395.
The deadline for ticket sales is April 25.
