Event set for June 23

Ironton In Bloom is currently looking for interested participants for this year’s annual Backyard Garden Tour, which is set for Sunday, June 23.

Gardeners and landscapers in Ironton who want to show off their yards are encouraged to participate, or those who know someone with a great garden or yard should encourage them to enter.

Ironton In Bloom is a 501C-3 non-profit organization that relies 100 percent on donations and/or sponsorships.

The group meets at 5 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Ironton Fire Department, located on the corner of Fourth and Jefferson streets, and those interested in getting involved are invited to attend.

Ironton In Bloom conducts several events throughout the year.
