Will survey properties in Rome, Union, Perry, Fayette townships
Residents in the urbanized areas of Rome, Union, Perry and Fayette townships should be getting a letter from the Lawrence Soil and Water Conservation District about the second phase of storm water program.
The notice is to let people know that surveyors will need access to their property, starting on Sept. 17, to do mapping work.
The surveying company, 3SG+/Prime AE Group, has been retained by the Lawrence Soil and Water Conservation District to help in preparing the required Ohio EPA Storm Water mapping.
All work done by the surveyors will be conducted outside, with no need to enter the home.
Each person involved in this work will make every effort to minimize the impact, of any, to property.
“Collectively, Lawrence Soil and Water Conservation District-Phase Il Storm Water Program and 3SG+/Prime AE desire to perform this work in a cooperative manner, respecting your rights and concerns as a property owner,” said Kimberly Carrico, urban/education specialist for the soil and water district.
Once the mapping is done, the information will be reported to the Ohio EPA and available to the public at a later date. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Lawrence Soil and Water Conservation District office at 740-867-4737.
