OVC football preview
set for Aug. 11 at CGHS
The Ohio Valley Conference football preview will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11, at Coal Grove High School.
Each game consists of two quarters. Here is the game schedule:
5 p.m. Chesapeake vs. Rock Hill; 6 p.m. South Point vs. Portsmouth; 7 p.m. Ironton vs. Gallipolis; 8 p.m. Fairland vs. Coal Grove.
Admission will be at the gate.

OVC volleyball preview
set for Aug. 10 at Gallia
The Ohio Valley Conference volleyball preview will be held on Friday, Aug. 10, at Gallia Academy High School.
Each game consists of two sets. Here is the schedule:

Fairland plan girls’ fall hoops league
The Fairland Girls’ Fall Basketball league will begin on Sept. 4.
The league is open to girls in grades 1-6. The league is open to any girls in the Tri-State area.
Practices are held at Fairland West Elementary and Fairland High School.
