SOUTH POINT — The roundabout project for Solida Road is set to begin next week.
According to a Facebook post from South Point council member Chris Smith, construction will commence at 7 a.m. on Wednesday and the Solida Road intersection will be closed.
“No traffic will be permitted in or out of Solida Road,” Smith wrote. “Collins Avenue will also be closed.”
All traffic in and out of the village will have to use Fourth Street to County Road 1.
Smith said the project has a 90-day timeline, but this schedule could change, due to weather and other issues.
The project is being carried out by the Ohio Department of Transportation and is not a village project, Smith said.
