The Cliffside Golf Club will be hosting the ninth annual Kiwanis Juniors at Cliffside golf tournament for junior golfers on Thursday, July 12, starting at 10 a.m. with registration from 9 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.
This is an individual stroke play tournament open to young golfers from 10 (or younger) through 18 years old competing in four divisions. The age groups are as follows:
• Age 10 and under (will play 9 holes and tee off from 100, 150 and 200 yards out on par 3’s, 4’s and 5’s respectively – front nine).
• Age 11-12 will also play 9 holes (from the red tees- front nine).
• Ages 13-15 and 16-18 will play from the blue tees.
• Girls will play from the red tees in the 13-15 and 16-18 divisions
• Girls age 12 and under will play 20 yards closer than their fellow male competitors.
Entry fees are $20 for 12 year olds and under and $30 for 13-15 and 16-18 year olds. Clubhouse certificates and individual awards will be presented to the top three places in each division.
Cart/meal passes will be available for spectators for $15 following kids 13 and older and $10 for those following kids age 12 and under so they may follow the tournament and eat with the kids.
