COAL GROVE — People who have been affected by recent flooding in the area can drop by the Coal Grove campus of Collins Career Technical Center on Saturday for a little help.
Students in the nursing program have been collecting cleaning supplies for about two weeks, Sandy Best, registered nursing instructor said, and they will be distributing them from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
“Our nursing students came up with the idea for care baskets, containing bleach, trash bags and other items,” she said.
She said anyone from flooded areas who is in need of the supplies can drop by thecampus and pick up the baskets, free of charge.
