Clothing Giveaway

CHOICES Board
CHOICES will have a special board meeting at 11 a.m. at the Lawrence County Developmental Disabilities office to make changes in administrator and other administrative changes.

PLTW Informational Meeting
An informational meeting for parents and prospective students in Coal Grove schools for the STEM classes offered by the Project Lead the Way program through Collins Career Technical Center will take place at Dawson Bryant High School at 6 p.m.
IHS Blood Drive
The American Red Cross will have a blood drive at Ironton High School from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
IHS Class of 1948 Lunch
The Ironton High School class of 1948 will meet for lunch at noon at the Depot in Ironton. All class members and guests are invited.
AFSCME Retirees
Ohio AFSCME Retirees Subchapter 135 will meet at 11 a.m. at the New Boston Community Center, 3980 Rhodes Ave, New Boston.

RHHS Blood Drive
The American Red Cross will have a blood drive at Rock Hill High School from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Knights of Columbus Dinner
The Knights of Columbus has dinners available, steak, fish, salmon patties, served from 5-7:30 p.m. at the hall.

Fish Fry
The Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church will have a fish fry dinner from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. or until the food sells out. Dinner includes fish, bread, two sides, and a soft drink. Cost is $10. Fish sandwich and drink is $5. Eat in or carry out. Call 740-646-8654 to place an order for delivery. The church is located on the corner of 8th and Adams streets in Ironton.
South Point Blood Drive
The American Red Cross will have a blood drive at Tri-State Worship Center, 901 Solida Road, from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Coal Grove Betterment Club Rummage Sale
The Coal Grove Betterment Club is having its annual rummage sale starting at 9 a.m. The club will pick up all donations. Call 740-532-2661 to schedule. All proceeds goes towards the club’s Christmas in the Park and village flowerpots.

Kelley’s Bridge Concert
The band Kelley’s Bridge will perform at the South Point branch of the Briggs Lawrence County Public Library at 6 p.m. Come and get in the mood for St. Patrick’s Day.
Chesapeake Village Council
The Chesapeake Village Council will meet at 7 p.m. at village hall.

South Point Village Council
The South Point village council will meet at 7 p.m. at the STEM+M Early College High School on Solida Road.
Knights of Columbus Dinner
The Knights of Columbus has soup and sandwiches available, served from 5-7:30 p.m. at the hall.

March 8

STEM+M Informational Meeting
An informational meeting for parents and students interested in the STEM+M Early College High School will take place at the school at 6:15 p.m. Activities for prospective students will have a trivia theme.

Health Department Physicals
The Ironton Health Department will be doing physicals from 1-4 p.m.

Paws for STEM
Paws for STEM, a pet-themed event featuring a dog show, vet screenings and pet adoptions will take place from noon-4 p.m. at the school, located at 702 Solida Rd. Event is free and open to the public. Cost for entries in dog show is $5.
Hanging Rock Village Council
Hanging Rock village council will meet at 8 a.m. at the Hanging Rock Municipal Building. This is a reschedule. The public is invited to attend.

Fairland BOE
The Fairland Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. at the high school.
