More than half involve drugs

A Lawrence County grand jury returned 30 indictments for January to the county prosecutor’s office, with more than half involving drugs.

• Ashley D. Gillispie, 32, of 323 33rd St., Huntington, West Virginia; fifth-degree possession of cocaine, possession of drugs (Alprazolam), a first-degree misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.

• Donald L. Sisler, 28, of 2163 County Road 22, Ironton; fifth-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine).

• Terry J. Jarvis, 28, listed as homeless; fifth-degree trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances, fifth-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine), and falsification, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Andrea L. Christian, 25, of 1597 Martha Court, #21A, Lexington, Kentucky; fifth-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine).

• Ashley N. Gardener, 33, of 1539 County Road 21, Ironton; third-degree trafficking in drugs (methamphetamine), third-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine), third-degree tampering with evidence, fifth-degree trafficking in drugs (Alprazolam), fifth-degree possession of criminal tools, third-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine), and third-degree illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility or institution.

• Mark A. Saxton, 45, of 6663 Strattford Lakes Blvd., Winchester; fifth-degree possession of heroin.

• Shannon Marcum, 39, of 2134 Winchester Ave., Apt. 1, Ashland, Kentucky; fifth-degree possession of heroin.

• Gavyn Konz, 25, of 8130 County Road 1, Lot 9B, South Point; fourth-degree trafficking in drugs (hash), fourth-degree trafficking in marijuana, and fourth-degree improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

• Michael B. Preston, 51, of 801 County Road 6, Ironton; fifth-degree possession of dangerous drugs (Tramadol Hydrochloride), and third-degree illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility or institution.

• Tommy Rockwell, 34, of 330 Walnut St., Ironton; fifth-degree possession of drugs (Oxycodone), fifth-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine), and fifth-degree possession of cocaine.

• David Malanowski, 37, of 307 Fourth St., Apt. 1, South Point; fifth-degree possession of heroin, falsification, a first-degree misdemeanor, and endangering children, also a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Richard L. Heaberlin II, 48, of 615 S. 10th St., Ironton; fourth-degree trafficking in drugs (methamphetamine), and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

• Betty Sue Albert, 41, of 615 S. 10th St., Ironton; fourth-degree trafficking in drugs (methamphetamine), and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

• Terrell D. Adams, 31, of 15061 Hazelridge St., Detroit, Michigan; first-degree trafficking in drugs (Oxycodone), and third-degree tampering with evidence.

• Bryan Bryant, 29, of 2831 S. Eighth St., Ironton; third-degree illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility or institution, fourth-degree trafficking in drugs (methamphetamine), and fifth-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine).

• George Falloway, 32, of 1302 Walnut St., Kenova, West Virginia; fifth-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine).

• Zachary Farrow, 37, of 808 Chinn St., Russell, Kentucky; fifth-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine).

• Misty Baldwin, 40, of 176 Township Road 1410, South Point; fifth-degree possession of heron, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Megan N. Lawhon, 25, of 1873 County Road  1, South Point; fifth-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine), and possession of drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor.

• Jesse L. Walker, 18, of 6016 County Road 41 N., Pedro; fifth-degree possession of drugs (methamphetamine).

• James D. Wells, 44, of 32 Township Road 1123, Proctorville; second-degree burglary.

• Jonathan Ratcliff, 22, of 77 Township Road 1019, South Point; fourth-degree improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

• Aaron Workman, 30, of 512 State Route 373, Ironton; two counts of second-degree felonious assault, and third-degree failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

• Daniel Wheeler, 54, of 2299 County Road 411, Proctorville; fourth-degree assault on a peace officer and domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Donald J. Spears, 41, of 420 11th St., Catlettsburg, Kentucky; fourth-degree receiving stolen property.
