For South Point refractories manufacturing facility
Another job fair for the new HarbisonWalker International (HWI) refractories manufacturing facility in South Point will be conducted from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Barboursville, West Virginia.
HWI is the largest supplier of refractory products and services in the U.S., and announced its plans for the new $30 million plant at The Point Industrial Park early last year. The plant is expected to be open sometime this year.
“The new facility will be one of the most technologically advanced refractories plants built in the U.S. and will be operational by early 2018,” Carol Jackson, HWI chairman and chief executive officer, said in June of last year.
Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, HWI’s international network spans North America, Europe ad Asia with 19 manufacturing plants, 30 Global Sourcing Centers and technology facilities in both the U.S. and China.
The company serves virtually every major industry that requires refractory solutions to enhance production and protect assets, and is consistently recognized for its talented experts, industry first and intensely driven excellence.
Interested applicants are encouraged to apply online prior to attending the job fair, as HWI representatives are interested in viewing applications and resumes in advance. Information about available positions can be found at www.thinkhwi.com/careers.
Holiday Inn and Suites is located at 3551 U.S. Route 60 E., Barboursville, West Virginia.
