ASHLAND, Ky. — The Highlands Museum and Discovery Center is partnering with the University of Rio Grande Athletic Department and the Ashland YMCA to present a unique learning opportunity for the region’s youth.
The Highlands Games Basketball Camp with the University of Rio Grande basketball teams will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at the YMCA located at 3232 Megan Neyer Way.
This free program for children in 4th-8th grades will have sessions for both boys and girls.
Camp participants will receive hands on training from the athletes and coaching staff of the Rio Grande men’s and women’s basketball programs.
Registration will be at the YMCA the day of the camp and is first come, first reserved.
The camp is open to the public.
