Voters in Ohio delivered a mixed result on statewide ballot issues on Tuesday night.
With 80 percent of precincts counted, Issue 1, known as Marsy’s Law dealing with crime victims’ rights, was approved by 83 percent of the voters.
Failing to pass was Issue 2, which would require state agencies to not pay more than the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for prescription drugs.
The campaign around the issue saw heavy advertising in the months before the election. The proposal was behind, 80-20 percent.
