SOUTH POINT — The public is invited to come and watch the Halloween parade at South Point Elementary on Friday.

This annual event kicks off at 12:45 p.m. and the parade will run along Park Avenue, 11th Street, Washington Avenue and Seventh Street, the streets framing the school’s campus, administrative assistant Bill Christian said.

All classes will walk in the parade in costume, and there will be several floats, including the Shriners, he said.

A number of students, who have exceled at the school, will be honored with a ride on some of the floats, Christian said.
