Paintings displayed at Briggs Lawrence County Public Library until June 17

Seventeen original paintings by artist Lottie Fraley, of Cannonsburg, Kentucky, are now on display at the Ironton Briggs Library, located at 321 S. Fourth Street.
Fraley has been painting and entering art competitions for 27 years, in which her paintings have won top awards and have been purchased by corporate and private collectors all over the country.
Fraley said she has always loved to draw and paint, and she paints in all mediums, although watercolor is her favorite. Her favorite subject matter to paint is wildlife, but she also paints floral, landscape and still life paintings. Fraley is best known for her large paintings of birds and flowers.
Fraley’s paintings are all on sale, and will be on display at the library until Saturday, June 17.
